Tribal Veterans Representative and V.S.O. Kelton Starr, would like to acknowledge and thank Tribal Maintenance Director Alvin Benally, Jordan Torres Jr., Toni Treas-Juarez and Commander Mariano Juarez from Mescalero Post #48 for putting up the new flags at the Mescalero Apache Tribe Cemetery.

Mr. Starr would also like to thank and acknowledge Director Chris Little for donating the platform and flag poles to the Mescalero Apache Tribe Cemetery.

REMINDER

March 31, 2022 will be the last day to pick up incentives for all eligible individuals who submitted their vaccination cards before the deadline. If you have not received your money, please come by the Tribal Accounting office Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.   

Incentive checks for out-of-town residents who are eligible are being mailed out weekly.

This weekend BIA/OJS Mescalero Agency and Mescalero Conservation Department will be conducting DUI checkpoints on roadways within the Mescalero Apache Reservation.

Please drive sober or assign a designated driver.

On Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at approximately 10 AM, Mescalero BIA Dispatch Center will have NO POWER due to routine maintenance. This will occur for 15-30 minutes.  

During this time, 911 calls will be transferred to Ruidoso Police Department.
