Gas Company: PUBLIC NOTICE
November 6, 2020
The Mescalero Gas Company will only be taking propane orders by phone from November 10-13, 2020 and November 16-20, 2020 between the hours of 8AM-2PM.
We will not be doing any Service Work Orders during this time.
The kiosk will be closed beginning Tuesday November 10, 2020-Sunday November 22, 2020 per the Executive Order 20-14.
Stay home, be safe, wear your mask and practice social distancing.
Social Services: PUBLIC NOTICE
Per Executive Stay at Home Order 20-14, Social Services offices will be closed and staff will be providing services remotely from November 10, 2020 through November 22, 2020.

Tribal Finance: PUBLIC NOTICE
Child Assistance Stimulus payments being held for Custody/Guardianship through Children’s Court will be distributed on November 24th from 10 am to 4 pm in the Community Center Gym.
Child Assistance Stimulus payments under control of the Mescalero Social Services will be distributed on November 24th at the Social Services office.
Due to the legality of the payments, these checks will not be placed in the mail. If there are any questions, please contact the offices directly.

Tribal Maintenance: PUBLIC NOTICE
Mescalero homeowners, please notify essential personnel if someone in your home is positive for COVID-19, whether under quarantine or isolation.
Essential personnel such as Tribal Maintenance, Utilities, or Housing personnel.
This way they can better prepare with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when providing services.
Mescalero Emergency Operations Center (E.O.C.): PUBLIC NOTICE
MESCALERO E.O.C.
During the two-week lockdown, which begins at 6:00 PM on Monday, November 09, 2020 thru 6:00 AM Monday, November 23, 2020. The Call Center will be the point of contact for community members should there be a need for emergency assistance. They will be available every day throughout the two weeks, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Passes
The CHR program is presently housed at the Elderly Center. They will be on call until 7:00 PM for medication pickup and/or rides to the hospital for non-COVID patients. A pass can be issued to leave your home for a doctor’s appointment. This can be requested through and picked up from Ben Martinez at the Tribal Offices.

Wood
Wood for elders who are 60 years and older is also available. This will be on a first call first serve basis. We are asking that only those elders who are in need of wood contact our office at:

At the time the wood is being delivered to your home, if the driver sees that there is wood at your home, the wood will not be dropped off. Those elders who are out of wood, and request delivery, will take priority. Only one row of wood will be delivered.
Turkey for Elders
Mark your calendar, on November 24, 2020 the Elderly Program will be giving out a turkey to elders who are 60 years and older. Distribution will begin at 1:00 PM.
