Attention Tribal Members

The Tribe received numerous return checks in the mail from the Economic Support Payment. As a result, starting Monday, Accounting will call individuals in order to verify their address. Accounting will use phone numbers that individuals provided on their application. After Accounting has verified your address, they will resend the check to the correct address.

The All Together NM Fund grant is awarding $5,000 grants to New Mexico businesses. They are one of four entrepreneurial support organizations and the only one focused on Native entrepreneurs and Native-led businesses. 

The fund wants to spread out in different counties. Any businesses in Otero County that might fit the qualifications for the grant can apply!

All Together NM Fund grant needs to know:

• Name of business owner
• Name of business
• City and County of business
• Indicate if applicant if Native, female, minority, immigrant, veteran, but anyone is welcome to apply
• **Must have at least one employee or contractor (1099 must have been issued in 2019 tax year) besides themselves and no more than 7 total.

If you DID NOT submit an application BEFORE the deadline, your check is on hold, pending your signed application. You MUST submit an application in order to receive the Economic Support payment check.

If you are in this case, your application still must be submitted to Crystal Lester. Follow the instructions listed on the application. 

Once the submitting process is done, your check will be mailed out accordingly. 

Please remember the Accounting Dept. is functioning with very limited staff and hours due to the Tribal Offices being closed.
