COMMUNITY UPDATE: 247 FIRE We want to keep you informed about the 247 fire, which has currently burned approximately 1 acre. Thanks to our local firefighters along with Smokey Bear Hotshot, the situation is under control. While the fire is still hot, it is not in danger of spreading. Rest assured, the firefighters will be monitoring the fire throughout the night to ensure safety and manage any potential risks. We appreciate their hard work and commitment to protecting our community. Please remember to properly dispose of any hot ashes from your fires, here are a few tips to keep our environment safe:

  1. COOL DOWN:Always let ashes cool completely before disposal.
  2. USE A METAL CONTAINER: Transfer ashes to a metal container with a lid and a place away from flammable materials.
  3. CHECK LOCAL REGULATIONS: Be aware of any local guidelines regarding outdoor fires and ash disposal.
