Attention, everyone! We’ve noticed an increase in measles cases in our community, and it’s crucial to stay informed and vigilant. Here are some signs to watch for:
- FEVER: A high fever is overnight one of the first symptoms.
- COUGH: Persistent cough can accompany a fever.
- RUNNING NOSE: Nasal congestion or runny nose may also occur.
- RED EYES: Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common symptom.
- RASH: Look for a red, blotchy rash that usually starts on the face and spreads downwards.
PREVENTION IS KEY!
- Ensure your vaccinations are up to date.
- If you or your child show any symptoms, please stay home and consult with a healthcare provider.
- Spread the word, not the virus.
Let’s work together to keep our community safe and healthy!
