Cloudy and cold; breezy this afternoon with snow showers this evening. Tonight: Cloudy, windy, and cold with a little snow at times with little or no accumulation.
Protect people and pets:
Dress in heavy layers and use wool or waterproof gear if possible.
- Watch for cold-related symptoms like shivering, numbness or confusion. (Seek help if needed).
- People most vulnerable to extreme cold ar infants, elderly, persons with chronic illness, and outdoor workers.
- Bring your pets indoors and make sure that they have a warm bedding.
Prepare Homes and Vehicles:
Safely heat your home and check smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.
Keep emergency supplies and blankets in your vehicle if traveling.
