The Mescalero Tribal Scholarship packet is exclusive for all enrolled members of the Mescalero Apache Tribe only! When completing one of the packets, be certain you are printing the packet that will be required for your need:

  • Beginning Packet – first time ever applicant

By providing these documents online it will be your absolute responsibility to complete the correct packet and get it to our office on or before the required deadline date

  • Our office will not accept any incomplete Scholarship packets.
  • Our office will not accept any Scholarship packets after the deadline date.
  • Our office will not accepted any faxed application packets; therefore please mail with ample time, so we do receive your complete packet in a timely manner!

Announcements:

  • The Albuquerque Area Southwest Tribal Epidemiology Center (AASTEC) is seeking eligible American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) undergraduate and graduate student applicants for paid internship placements this upcoming summer 2024. Students enrolled in a public health, health education, or other allied field degree program at an accredited university are invited to learn more about the internship program and apply online by Tuesday April 16, 2024 here: https://sites.google.com/view/aastecinternship/home[8]. If you are a student interested in completing a practicum, capstone, or fieldwork experience requirement with AASTEC, please reach out to directly to Carolyn Parshall, MPH at [email protected][9]. First-time applicants will need to submit a completed application form, letter of recommendation, a current CV/resume, and up-to-date transcripts. Undergraduate applicants must have completed a full year of college coursework before they may be considered for an internship position.
