We are excited to announce the establishment of the Mid-Year General Welfare Assistance Program for 2026!
This program aims to support tribal members with back-to-school costs, rising gasoline prices, and increased grocery expenses due to inflation.
Here are the key details:
- Assistance Amount: $700.00 for each eligible enrolled tribal member.
- Application Availability: • Online: Starting today, July 1, 2026 • In-Person: At the tribal offices beginning Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Application Deadline: • Submit by: July 14, 2026, at 4:30 PM for distribution on July 28, 2026. • Late Applications: Accepted until August 31, 2026, with distributions every Friday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM or via mail for out-of-town members.
- Important: Incomplete or late applications will be denied—no exceptions.
