We want to keep you informed about the ongoing Cienegita Springs fire, which currently spans approximately 0.69 acres. As of now, containment is at 0%.

Our dedicated firefighting crews are actively working on the fire line, including:

• Tribal Dozer

• Mescalero Apache Division of Resources Management and Protection (DRMP)

• BIA-Forestry

• Multiple Aviation Units with Heavy Helicopters

Current weather conditions are favorable for containment, with temperatures manageable, humidity at 60%, and light winds of 6 mph.

Let’s keep all those involved in battling the Cienegita Springs fire safe. We appreciate their hard work and efforts during this challenging time.
