A 252 Fire Update:

We want to share the latest information regarding the ongoing 252 Fire:

• Current Resources on the Scene:

• 6 Type 6 Engines

• 1 Type 3 Engine

• 1 Type 4 Engine

• MAFR is providing structure protection

• One Hotshot crew from Mormon Lake

• Two air support units are en route

• Air attack operations are active

• A Sky Crane is assisting with water drops

• A Tribal Dozer is on-site

• A Large Air Tanker (LAT) has been ordered

• Fire Activity:

• Four fires have been reported along the highway. Thankfully, three have been swiftly contained.

• The fourth fire is currently approximately 5-10 acres in size and still burning.

We are incredibly thankful for the hard work and efforts of our firefighters. Their dedication is crucial in protecting our community.
