Firework Safety:

As we prepare to welcome in the new year, we want to remind everyone that fireworks are permitted under our tribal code. However, with the current dry drought conditions, safety is our top priority.

Please practice caution and follow these guidelines to ensure a safe celebration:

1. Check Local Regulations: Make sure you’re familiar with any specific rules regarding fireworks in our area.
2. Choose Safe Locations: Light fireworks in open areas away from flammable materials.
3. Have Water Ready: Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby for emergencies.
4. Never Leave Unattended: Always supervise fireworks while they’re being used.
5. Dispose Properly: Once finished, make sure to safely extinguish and dispose of used fireworks.
