Mescalero Apache School Tours:

October 24, 2025 by Mescalero Apache Tribe

We recently had the honor of welcoming Career and Technical Education (CTE) leaders from the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED), alongside representatives from Alamo Navajo and Shiprock Northwest. Our school is proud to be recognized as one of the state’s leading CTE programs!

A big thank you to Breezy Gutierrez, Denise Ojeda, Rebecca Galves, and Melissa DeLauvents from NMPED, as well as Principal Bryan Sanders and his team from Shiprock Northwest, and CTE Director Karen Bramlett from Alamo Navajo for joining us.

During their visit, our guests toured our diverse and expanding CTE programs, which include Welding, Construction Trades, Art Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Culinary Arts, and Film & Video Production. These programs offer our students invaluable real-world experience and technical skills that will set them up for success in their future careers.

A special shoutout to Principal Ms. Baeza and Superintendent Mr. Gutierrez for their leadership and for providing such a wonderful tour. We are truly fortunate to have an outstanding campus that supports our students’ growth and learning!
