New Office Location

Violence Against Women Program office has changed location. They are now at 451 War Bonnet Drive. This building was formerly occupied by System of Care. Office hours are still as follows: Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30pm. Phone numbers are the same: 464-0077 or 0079.

Special message from Lucy Rodriguez, VAW Counselor:

We can all attest that this past year has been extremely challenging for all of us, as we have all in one way or another suffered the effects of this devastating viral pandemic. Some of us have lost loved ones while yet others have had to endure the debilitating symptoms of the virus. Non-the-less, this pandemic has taken a toll on us all. Please know, that you do not have to suffer in silence. We are all in this together, and together we will prevail. With that said, I wanted to reiterate, that I am available for grief counseling as well as counseling for any other matters. I am a good listener as well as very approachable. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us in the VAWA office. We are here to assist, and I as a therapist am here to listen and help in any way possible.

NOTE: Lucy, who is the counselor, received a phone call last night, from someone who recently lost a family member and they had a lengthy session. We would like people to know Lucy is available to provide counseling during these very difficult times.
